The Power of Unity: When We Choose to Embrace, Not Divide

 

Unity in every shade. This is the world I want to be a part of.


Perspective is everything.

We see life, events, and people through our own lens—a lens shaped by our experiences, our environment, and yes, our prejudices.

What one side sees as justice, another sees as injustice.

What one calls necessary, another calls excessive.


Somewhere along the way, we lost compassion.

We lost empathy.

We stopped making space for understanding and replaced it with impatience, condemnation, and intolerance.


We’ve climbed so high onto our own pedestals, we’ve forgotten how to look around—let alone reach down.


Until we’re willing to come back down to earth, to walk beside one another, to truly live in and respect different people, beliefs, cultures, and perspectives…

we will only continue to harm each other—and ourselves.

  I saw a post today where a homesteading woman said, “A woman’s place is in the home.” This is what came to mind: What Do You Picture When You Think of Women in the 1950s?
